1st Year and TY students celebrate Chinese New Year

On Friday morning, 10th February, the 1st Year CSPE students and TY students celebrated the Chinese New Year. Ms. Kenny, Ms. Donohoe and Mr. Kearns organised an exhibition of calligraphy and music in the hall.

Friday morning, 10th February, saw a celebration of the Chinese New Year for 1st Year CSPE students and TY students. Yang, Fang and Ju, three Chinese visitors came to the school to demonstrate calligraphy and music to the students. Prior to this both 1X and 1Y have been studying the origins and significance of Chinese New Year over the last few weeks in the lead up to Chinese New Year.

Many thanks to Ms. Kenny, Ms. Donohoe and Mr. Kearns for organising such an intriguing morning.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
