Engineers Week 2015 was celebrated nationwide from 8th - 14th February. Ms. McCarthy and her 1st Year Science class celebrated it by making parachutes.1st Year students explain further.
Oonagh: For Engineers Week (8th - 14th February) we made parachutes. Our parachute was done first and we tested it out at once.
Laura: It didn't work out at first but then we fixed it and we tried it out and it was very successful.
Nicole: After our parachute was completed we designed the parachute with colourful stars for show.
Alan: The outcome of our experiment was that it fell and swayed a lot, but made to the ground successfully.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
