On Wednesday, 22nd May 2019, four members from the Green Schools committee and Ms Donohoe attended the Green Flag Awards Ceremony in The Helix, DCU to receive Stratford's 4th Green Flag for Marine Litter.

Well done to TY students, Zack, Finn, Eva and Nellie for being nominated for the 'Best School Made Film' award in the Fresh Film Festival 2019. They showcased their film 'Pearls' in Limerick on 28th March.

Congratulations to the Senan, Eva, Alexey and Sophie who won this year's Classical Studies Ides of March quiz on 21st March 2019. It was a nail-biting finish with two tie-breaker questions. Well done to the winning team who kept their nerve!

Congratulations to Ms Patricia Gordon who in March 2019 has been appointed to the incoming National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) by the Minister of Education and Skills for a three year term.

Ms O'Kelly co-presented a presentation led by Professor Brendan Tangney, co-director of Trinity College's Centre for Research in IT in Education (CRITE) and Dr Jake Rowan Byrne, Assistant Professor in Contemporary Teaching & Learning and Computing, Trinity College Dublin at the CESI (Computers in Education Society of Ireland) 2019 Conference in Athlone on 2nd March.

Stratford College awarded SciFest STEM School Award

Stratford College was awarded a SciFest STEM School award on Thursday, 28th February 2019. The award was presented to Ms O'Kelly who received it on behalf of Stratford. Stratford College has been entering SciFest competitions with TYs since April 2014 in both the Technology and Life and Physical Science sections.
