NEWS / 20 April 2015

World Book Night is a night when people and institutions give away World Book Night designated books to people who wouldn't ordinarily read. Anyone can be volunteer, everyone should read.

On 23 April thousands of people get involved with World Book Night by giving away books to people who don’t regularly read. This year as in other years, the World Book Night organisation send almost a third of our 250,000 books to institutions around the UK and Ireland, including prisons, schools and colleges, libraries and homeless groups, to enable their staff to celebrate and share the power of reading with users and colleagues alike.
