The English Department celebrated some of our talented Stratford College poets on Thursday the 5th of December with the Winter Poetry Salon. Junior and Senior poets shared their poems to a supportive audience of staff and students in the English Room.
We were treated to some deeply personal poems and fascinating images, in a celebration of imagination and creativity. Participating students will now have their poems entered into Oide's National Write a Poem Competition, and we wish them lots of luck!
In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
