Watch 2nd Year English Student Jessica Nelkin’s “Speedpainting” of “To Kill a Mockingbird”

NEWS / 1 February 2012

Jessica Nelkin, 2nd Year English student, decided to create a speedpaint of "To Kill a Mockingbird" for one of her English tasks. Watch it come alive.

To Kill a Mockingbird Speedpaint'Speedpainting' means recording yourself (on the screen) drawing a picture, speeding it up and adding music.

This was my take on one of the tasks on the tasksheet for English. When I thought of 'To Kill A Mockingbird', these are the first scenes that came into my head, so that's why I chose them.

This picture took me about 2 hours. It was done in Easy Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop CS3 and I used a G-Pen F509 (Graphics tablet) to draw. Click on the thumbnail to open an enlarged version of image.)
