TY's have been learning to code in Python since January using pytch.org as the way to transition from Scratch to Python. Pytch is developed by Trinity College Dublin and TY's were invited to participate in a further research project where Pytch works with micro:bits.
Computer Science Education researchers from TCD joined the TY Computer Studies class on Monday 8th April. The TY's used pytch.org and micro:bits to modify a car game! A big thank you to Trinity for inviting us to take part and to the TYs who took part in the research.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
