The last sporting activity for the TY students was white water rafting on the River Liffey on Thursday, 14th May. TY students Odran Young and Moya McCrea recount the experience.

As an activity in TY, Ms. Finnegan brought us white water rafting. We got a bus to the white water rafting place in Lucan. We got changed into wetsuits and life jackets and made our way to the Liffey where we would start the white water rafting.

We were split into two boats, each with an instructor. Throughout the course there were several weirs where we would go over as fast as we could. At first it was scary but by the last weir everyone was really enjoying it. For me, white water rafting was in my top trips of TY. I really enjoyed the excitement of going over the weirs and would definitely go again.
