NEWS / 8 September 2025

A big week for TYs as reported by Ciara, Liam, Oisin and Brodie. TYs also started to work on their TY Digital Portfolio, writing up their goals and August experiences. Lucy (TY) took this stunning photo of the fawn when in Larch Hill for the Rite Journey dawn ceremony.

  • This past week all TY’s went up to Larch Hill for the departure ceremony for the Rite Journey. We were all there for 5:45 in the morning while it was still dark and we got to see sunrise while overlooking the city. When we got back to school, we were treated to a lovely breakfast with fresh croissants from Bijou. It was exciting to begin this journey that we will continue through out this year and I don’t think we will forget this experience any time soon.
  • We continued with our Capoeira workshop and we have been working on our kicks and dancing as well as our musical skills, learning how to play some Brazilian instruments and playing music together.
  • You may have seen our TY Jewish students going around the school with a camera filming teachers as well as all Jewish students in the shul for their upcoming Rosh Hashanah assembly so be excited to see the finished product.
  • If you have not already done so please bring in your Delphi form and give it to Ms. Maxwell because you will need it if you want to come.
