TY students, Edward Keogh and Megan Harnett, writes about the progress of his class as they learn to ski on the dry slopes in Kilternan in preparation for their ski trip to Austria in early January.

Skiing in Kilternan has been great so far and I can't wait for Austria. We have gone skiing twice so far and have one week left. I find the funniest part about skiing is when you fall! Jennifer was going down the slope and fell and everyone laughed... including Jennifer!

Edward Keogh, TY

For the past three Thursdays, the whole of TY were skiing in Kilternan in preparation for our ski trip to Austria in January. It was very eventful if I must say so myself! For example some people fell off the slope onto another slope, some people fell about 100 times and got loads of bumps and bruises to prove it! It was definitely worth it as it's yet another skill we have learnt so far in TY that personally I would love to use after school. Even though it rained in our last two lessons, we still went with it and persevered. I think collectively we all had a lot of fun and a lot of  pain but I guess no pain no gain.
