During April, the TY students spent Thursday afternoons in Dun Laoghaire learning how to sail. Carly Gresak explains what they had to do.
The TY class spent Thursday afternoons during April sailing in Dun Laoghaire. We experienced a new sport for some of us. For the first week it was freezing until we started on the water. For the second week we went kayaking because it was much too windy to sail. In my opinion, kayaking was much more fun than sailing, but overall it was so much fun. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
