Transition Year student, Jake, who also represents Ireland for Baseball, explained to 3rd and 4th class pupils in Stratford National School the rules of the game on Wednesday, 8th May.
On Wednesday, 8th May, Transition Year student, Jake, visited 3rd and 4th class of Stratford National School to teach them all about how to play baseball. Jake represents Ireland at Baseball so he was in a great position to answer all the incisive questions that the 3rd and 4th class pupils asked him.
At the end Jake signed autographs for all the pupils—something he said he’s never done before! (Click on blog title to see more photos)

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
