NEWS / 15 April 2015

Every Friday morning since 6th March, the TY students have been taking classes in Chinese as one of their Business class modules. TY student Niall Garvey explains what they have discovered so far.

We began Chinese classes as a module in Business from Friday, 6th March. It has been a very interesting module so far and I have enjoyed it vastly. We have learned how to say "Ireland" in Chinese. We have also learned about the Chinese education system. Secondary school students stay in school until night-time! They stay on in school to do their homework. There are many study halls in Chinese schools. They have school every day except Sunday.
