Ms. Kenny has come across a very interesting website recently - labbacallee.weebly.com. Labacallee is an early Bronze Age Wedge Tomb near Glanworth in North County Cork. It's the biggest wedge tomb in Ireland and it is aligned to the setting sun at the equinox.

It is divided into four sections:

  • Radiating lines
  • Bronze Age Ireland: settlements, farming and food, clothing and jewellery, mining and trading, ritual and religion.
  • Myths and legends associated with the tom
  • The Labbacallee Hero - an opportunity for students to write a book
