In Rathgar village today (Thursday, 8th November), our second year English students performed six plays that they had written based around a local literary or historical event.

For example, Jonah Miller wrote and directed a play about local man W. B. Yeats, Maria Todorova's wrote and directed her play on Harry Clarke, the celebrated Irish stain glass artist, whose work is housed in St Joseph's church and Annalivia Pezzillo created her play around Mr Chaim Herzog, the former Chief Rabbi of Ireland, whom Herzog Park is named after in his honour.
