Just before the mid-term break (14th and 15th February), the TY mini-company - Stratford Cupids - handed out hundreds of roses from anonymous admirer's in the school. Joy Malone, Sadhbh Charles and Kara Stein explain what was involved.

For our mini-company idea we decided to make roses for people to send to people in the school who they admire. Each rose was €1. We didn't know whether the students in the school would be that interested in the idea but as it came nearer to Valentine's Day people kept buying and buying!

We had to decorate hundreds of roses which took up a lot of our spare time. It was all worth it in the end to see a smile on everyone's face when they got a rose from an anonymous "admirer".
