5th Year Student, Carmel Grey, spearheaded the phenomenal work done by the Green Schools Committee for their recent inspection on Wednesday, 25th March. The result of this inspection is that Stratford College is to be awarded its second Green Schools Flag for Energy in May! Carmel explains in detail the work that was involved in getting an Energy Flag.

On Friday, 24th April the Green Schools Committee discovered that we are going to be awarded the Energy Flag on Tuesday, 19th May. To achieve the flag we had to fill in a detailed application form all about how we are saving energy, how Green Schools is linked into the subjects and what we did for our Action Day. We also had an inspection on Wednesday, 25th March in order to get the flag.

Green Schools are very excited to get the new flag as a lot of work was put into it. Thanks to every student who is a member of Green Schools and to Ms. Donohoe who gives us huge support in running Green Schools.

Carmel Grey (5th Year)
