Stratford Teachers participating in the Step Up Project took part in a joint seminar in a Leadership for Learning series organised by support agencies of the Department of Education and Skills on Friday 17 May 2019. The project will continue next year.
Under the leadership of Siobhan Reynolds, Deputy Principal, Helen Brouder (Business), Aileen O'Sullivan (Science) and Leona Talbot (English) presented their findings to representatives of the DES, Inspectorate, Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT), Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) and the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA).
Patricia Gordon participated in a panel discussion afterwards on How to Support Sustainable Change in Schools.

The Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton T.D., today (Friday September 21st 2018) announced the launch of the School Excellence Fund – Step Up Project.
Nine schools from across the country are participating in the initial pilot phase taking place over the coming school year.
