NEWS / 13 November 2012

Carly Gresak and Jorden Bukspan, are the TY students behind this year's Battle of the Bands. They explain their plans for the event.

Battle of the Bands will take place this year in Stratford College on a weekday, after-school hours. It will be run by Carly Gresak (TY), Marketing Manager and Jorden Bukspan (TY), Managing Director.

We will be looking for performers of any genre and will be holding auditions. We are going to choose six bands and will set a date as soon as possible. We are hoping to have participation from artists in Stratford College and support from the pupils. We will be giving a prize for the winning band or performer. Tickets will be sold in the school at a price of €5. There will be a special performing guest that is not to be missed. Keep an eye out for updates!
