6th Year Geography student, Maeve Crossan, explains what the Leaving Certificate students had to complete for their field investigation when they visited Kippure on Wednesday, 11th November

We went to Kippure Education Centre as part of our Geography investigations write up for our Leaving Certificate. We first listened to the theory side of the investigations, for example different aspects of a river such as how fast flowing it is and the depth of a river at different points. We then put on our waders and were shown how to use the measuring equipment. After we completed our investigation work, we returned to the centre where we wrote up our measurements.
