A new School Book Club has started and this month's book is "The Dead" by Charlie Higson. Any student can join. Discussions will be held in the Library and on StratfordMoodle.
This month's book is "The Dead" by Charlie Higson. According to teenreads.com, "The Dead is the second book in Charlie Higson's terrifying and action-packed horror series, in which everyone over the age of 16 has been infected with a disease that turns them into flesh-eating monsters."
Every month the School Book Club will have a different book for students to read. If you like the look of the book, get a free copy from the Library. You have a month to read it. Every month we'll meet in the Library to chat about what we thought of the book. The discussion is also continued on Stratfordmoodle in the Library folder where you can see videos of the author's reading excerpts from their books.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
