Renan Luce - un musicien.

Cathy Dunne (5th Year) describes some of the music she listened to when she stayed in France last year.

Quand je restais en France pendent l’été, j’écoutais beaucoup de types de musique française. Renan Luce n’est pas très populaire en France mais ses chansons sont bien connues à la radio. Renan Luce a 31 ans et il habite en Bretagne. J’aime Renan Luce parce qu’il joue de la guitare et chante aussi, ses chansons sont très animées. Ma chanson préférée est ‘La Lettre’. ‘La Lettre’ est une belle chanson au sujet d’un homme et il tombe amoureux d’une fille, mais la fille pense qu’il ne l’aime plus et elle est enceinte, donc, l’ homme reçoit un message doux  disant  elle va se suicider. L’homme se dépêche de la falaise à coté de la Manche. Ill arrive juste à temps et on est heureux. J’adore la chanson parce que c’est romantique et passionnant. Renan Luce a beaucoup de chansons comme « Les Voisines », « On n’a pas une Bêtise près » et « Fille de la Bande ».

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
