Ms Annette Honan of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) will be speaking at the AGM of the Parents Association on Thursday 23rd October next.

Ms Annette Honan of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA)  will be speaking at the AGM of the Parents Association on Thursday 23rd October next. Annette will be talking about the introduction of new courses & progressive teaching methodologies. Junior Cycle English was introduced this year and Junior Cycle Science is due to begin in 2015. Annette is working with a group of schools including Stratford on the introduction of these new courses and spoke to our parents last in 2012 as part of this work.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
