Mitzvah Week - Student Council running Mitzvah Raffle in support of Focus Ireland

Tickets are on sale for the Mitzvah Raffle (which started on Thursday 28th November) in aid of Focus Ireland. The raffle will take place at the 5th Year Assembly which will be held in Monday 9th December. You can buy 1 ticket for €2 or 5/row/column of tickets for €5.

Student Council members will sell tickets in the hall at lunch and break time, running every day next week.

There will be Focus Ireland Buckets - with QR codes to scan using a phone and the regular cash-only buckets -  will receive much needed funds.

Prizes from the Parents Association for the MITZVAH RAFFLE so far
1 x €25 One for all voucher
1 x €30 Omniplex Cinema voucher
3 x €50 One for all voucher
A set of six Tipperary Crystal bone china mugs
1 x voucher Dunnes Stores
Chocolates and SO MUCH MORE!!
Local Businesses in Rathgar and Terenure will also donate prizes!
Money can also be donated to Focus Ireland as well as purchasing tickets for the Raffle.

Stratford at Stripe YSTE 2026 - 2 projects, 3 awards. 5th Years win Runner Up Group Award!

What a Stripe Young Scientist and Technology 2026 experience for our two Stratford College groups competing in this year's competition! 

The whole of Stratford College and community are so, so proud of 5th Year students, Hao Wen and Ritvik, for winning one of the top four awards in this year's competition - the Runner Up Group Award. They also won the Institute of Physics Special Award. A big thank you to Dr Ryan for mentoring the 5th year students. Major congratulations to TY students Callum and Sanket for getting a Highly Commended award for their FluxChess project in a very challenging category, mentored by Ms O'Kelly.
