"Mitzvah" means 'good deed' in Hebrew. Mitzvah Day is a day to get involved in social service and improve social awareness. This year, there will be Mitzvah Day activities taking place in more than 15 countries altogether. Stratford Schools are taking part in Mitzvah Day again this year. One of the planned activities is a food collection for Focus Ireland, running from 19th - 23rd November.
There will be clearly-marked collection boxes in both school buildings. Please donate sealed, non-perishable items which are will within date. (No meat or shellfish, please.)
Please support this charity drive and help us help people and families in need. Let's build on last year's successful collection. May we do many more mitzvot together!

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
