NEWS / 22 February 2013

TY students, Ruth Somers, Ciara Harrison, Hannah Kearns and Jake Long baked the most delicious baked goods for their bake sale on Tuesday, 12th February. There's another sale on Thursday, 11th April - don't miss it!

On Tuesday, 12th February, the TY mini-company, 'Lil' Ounce a Heaven' sold our bakery products to the primary and secondary school.

Our company made €300 profit, selling cakes and treats, and delivering orders to parents and students. Our large variety of products, including cupcakes, chocolate biscuit cake, Mars Bar squares and cheesecakes proved very popular.

We are continuing to take orders and our next bake sale will be on Thursday, 11th April.

We have also recently edited our menu to satisfy consumer preferences - we have added caramel slices to the menu! If you are interested in making an order and aren't sure of the products being sold, please see Ruth, Hannah or Ciara in Transition Year for a menu and to place your order!

We are also taking orders for birthday cakes for both children and adults. (Click on blog title to see more photos.)

Members of the mini-company: Ruth Somers, Ciara Harrison, Hannah Kearns and Jake Long.
