Peadar Charles (6th Year) explains what 5th and 6th Year Geography students had to do as part of their field trip on Wednesday, 24th October.

On Wednesday, 24th October, both the fifth and sixth year Geography students travelled to Glencree Hostel as part of our Leaving Certificate field work. It was extremely misty on the day and four of the students had to go into the fast-flowing ice-cold water in waders in order to carry out the field work. Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
