On Tuesday, 11th December, the Jewish Studies department hosted an Inter-School Chanukah celebration with 10 other schools from the greater Dublin area in the Taca Samuel Hall in Terenure. Approximately 60 students and teachers enjoyed Hanukkah food such as falafels, doughnuts and latkes, music and playing dreidels. The purpose of the celebration was to celebrate it with CSPE and Religion classes from other schools. There was a really good vibe as everyone mixed very easily with each other. At the end the Rabbi showed the students around the Synagogue.

There are lots more photos of the celebration on the web gallery. All the photos were taken by Louise O'Sullivan.
