The Hour of Code is part of Computer Science Education Week, 8th - 14th December 2014. Stratford College is signed up and is on the map of events with 67, 779 (and counting) others world-wide! Last year, 15 million students tried Hour of Code, this year the organisers are for 100 million students worldwide to try a tutorial.

What is the Hour of Code? It's a one hour activity where students of all ages can chose from a variety of self-guided tutorials. Go to code.org/learn to try it out. Students will be shown a video at form-time on Monday, will be encouraged to sign up to these tutorials and can attend the weekly CoderDojo class on Tuesday's at lunchtime in the computer lab.
