From Sunday, 2nd April through to Tuesday, 4th April a group of TY students and 5th Year students went to Krakow on a History trip. Highlights of the trip included visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mines, Oscar Schindler's Factory and a guided tour of Krakow. The trip also included a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau.

"The trip to Poland was a great experience. We had lots of fun. We went to Auschwitz-Birekenau which was an eye-opening experience. I don't think I will ever forget everthing I saw there." Jake Henry (5th Year)
"The trip to Poland was a wonderful History trip which gave us an insight in a darker period of the past, particularly the Nazi Occupation of Poland. Today, Friday 12th April, first year students engaged in an immersive reptile workshop, delving into a hands-on learning experience with a variety of fascinating creatures including snakes, lizards, turtles and spiders!

Major congratulations to the U15 Boys Basketball team who gave everything in a challenging Final on Thursday 11th April against a very strong team from St Tiernans. At no point did the team ever give up! Making it to the Finals is a brilliant achievement and proved to be a great learning experience.

TY students Joseph and Liam won the Regeneron Special Award at BTYSTE 2024 which means they will be representing Ireland at the forthcoming Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles in May!
Regeneron invited Stratford TY's, 5th Year Computer Science students and Stratford's 7 BTYSTE 2024 students to their manufacturing site in Limerick on Tuesday 9th April.
