"the trip to Bath was both educational and entertaining. Despite staying for only one night, the trip gave us great perspective into our Classical Studies subject - making an animated subject even more so animated." Hugh Cannon (5th Year)

"Going to Bath and the bathhouses gave me a realistic view on Roman architecture and their culture. Features of Roman architecture were visible all around the city, not just the baths, so the subject became very alive for me." Hugh O'Rourke (6th Year)

"The 5th and 6th Year Classical Trip to Bath not only gave me the chance to visit a real life Roman bathhouse but the opportunity to see the extraordinary sights in the Bristol countryside. Bath is a spectacular town, with architecture that easily allows it to stand out from any modern town. Stonehenge is breathtaking. The Ghost Walk was a nice change and it was interesting to learn some of the town's supernatural lure. Overall it was CLASS!" Peadar Charles (6th Year)

"Bath was a buzz! Those Romans were mad altogether. I want a bath just like that when I grow up!" Irena Williams (6th Year)

"The trip to Bath was both interesting and educational. Of course we learnt a lot to do with Classics at the Roman Bathhouses but the highlight had to be the Ghost tour. All in all it was a brilliant trip and I would love to visit Bath again." Seán McGuinness (5th Year)

"Bath was good craic. We got to see a big pile of rocks called Stonehenge and go on a ghost walking tour of the town - but saw nothing. The baths themselves are good but the water tastes nasty! Bath is also full of vampire kids." Aaron Sheridan (6th Year)

"For me I loved it all: whether it was going to Stonehenge or the bathhouses, even seeing the town itself. Of course, the Classical quizzes and charades were great fun too. I enjoyed every minute of it and a big thanks to Ms. Donohoe and Ms. McCarthy for everything." Fearghal Kelleher (6th Year)

"Bath was enjoyable and educational. We got to see the Roman baths and appreciate the architecture that we learn about in Classics up close. But we also got to see sights like Stonehenge ('Stonehedge' if you ask Irena) and we had a tour of the the city's ghosts where we learned that pretty much the entire city is haunted. We even took a picture of a 'ghost'. Overall everybody enjoyed the trip. It was great craic." Amy Bennett (6th Year)

"An immensely enjoyable and satisfying experience, the trip to Bath was a great success. Not only did we see authentic Roman Baths with actual hot water, but we got enjoy the beauty of the city. Stonehenge, an unexpected treat, was fantastic. I'm glad to have gotten so much done and so many things seen, in such a short time." Michael Lawlor-Rojas (5th Year)
