Green Schools awarded second Green Flag at ceremony in DCU

A number of senior students from the Green Schools committee attended a ceremony in The Helix in DCU on Tuesday, 19th May to receive the second Green Flag for Energy. A huge amount of work was done by all the Green Schools committee to achieve this well-deserved flag.

On Tuesday,19th of May the Green Schools committee were delighted to receive their second Green flag for Energy. The whole committee worked extremely well and we thank them for their work, as well as Ms. Donohoe. We plan to raise the flag sometime in the next week and are excited to get working on our Water flag. See also the Awards and Achievements page.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
