AWS Get IT 1st Years 2024 Presentations IMG 4652
NEWS / 28 March 2024

First Year Computer Studies students presented their App Design ideas to our AWS GetIT (Amazon Web Services) Ambassador - Simon - over two classes at the end of March. Simon and Mr Eppel judged the App design ideas and presentations to choose one team to represent Stratford in the AWS GetIT/Junior Achievement competition. It was very exciting! The standard of presentations and design ideas was very high.

Congratulations to Ruby, Emma, Cian and Ianis! We wish them the best of luck with the design for theirĀ "Access Search" App. We hope that you will be selected to compete in the AWS National Finals!

We also want to thank Simon who has come to visit us twice for two AWS/Design bootcamps - one back in November and one in early March. In the meantime 1st years have been using the Canvas Learning Management System to learn about collaborative design work through online modules.

It mimics nature and so is more enticing to pollinators and native insects that need the food in Spring.
