Roddy Doyle's sequel to the seminal "The Commitments" is called "The Guts" and it's about Jimmy Rabbitte's life 25 years later.
This month's Book Club choice is "The Guts" by Roddy Doyle. It's the sequel to "The Commitments" which he published in 1987 and which went on to be a really successful film. Borrow the book from the Library now and meet up on Wednesday, 19th March to talk about it.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
