The Drama Class are busy preparing to take part in Feis Maitiu Speech and Drama Festival. The Competition will take place in The Mill Theatre, Dundrum 13 - 18 May. We have one group entering the under 14 Group Improvisation Competition and one group entering the under 18 Group Improvisation. Alice Murphy, fifth year is also entering the under 18 Solo Drama competition, with a piece from Six Characters in Search of an Author, by Luigi Pirandello. In the improvisation competition, each group will have roughly seven minutes to prepare a five minute drama and perform it for the other groups and an adjudicator. We are getting lots of practise in on Friday afternoons... producing some hilarious situations, some very memorable characters and even a Rom Com! Come along and check out what we're up to! Wish us luck!
