Congratulations to Diarmaid Kelly (3rd Year) who reached the semi-finals opposing the motion that "This House Would Ban Violent Video Games", on Friday 11th February.
On Friday, 11th February, Rory O'Neill and myself took part in the quarter-finals of the L and H Junior debating competition in UCD. Four other schools and two individuals took part in the debate. We were opposing the motion that "This House Would Ban Violent Video Games" and it was a very enjoyable debate. At the end, two school teams and two individuals were chosen to progress to the next round. I was picked to compete as an individual in the semi-finals that will take place in March.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
