Ms. Reynolds and Ms. S. O'Sullivan have a thriving group of debating students who have been involved this term in the Junior and Senior L&H Debating Competition in TCD, as well as the European Youth Parliament.
Senior L & H Debating Competition
Congratulations to Rory O'Neil and Diarmaid Kelly who got through to the semi-finals of the Senior Literary and Historical Debating Competition in Trinity College.
European Youth Parliament
Congratulations to Jorden Bukspan (5th) and Rory Murphy (TY) who represented Stratford College at 2013 European Youth Parliament (EYP). The results of the competition will posted in the new year. Let's hope they have similar success to our previous contender, Diarmaid Kelly, who was chosen to represent Ireland as last years EYP session held in Berlin.
Junior L & H Debating Competition
Every Monday evening, the English room becomes engulfed by eager debaters, hungry to learn the skills of oration. Alanah O'Byrne (2nd), Cormac Kelly (2nd), Eoin Little (1st), Jake Turley (1st), Megan Wynne (1st) and Ana Jovanovic (1st) have all admirably represented Stratford College at UCD. They're thriving under the expert tutelage of Lucy Murphy, a past pupil, and Ms S. O'Sullivan. We look forward to a new round of debates in the Spring.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
