Congratulations to our UCD and TCD Entrance Scholars/Exhibition 2023

UCD Entrance Scholars are first year students recognised for their academic achievement who have achieved 560 points or more in their Leaving Certificate (or equivalent second level examination). 

TCD Entrance Exhibitions (EU Students Only)
Entrance exhibitions are automatically awarded to Junior Fresh (first year) new entrants provided that sufficient merit is shown in public examination results.  Read more.

These awards are part of a range of UCD initiatives put in place to recognise exceptional students when they join, as well as those who develop their talents while studying at UCD.

Top tier of awards is through the UCD Ad Astra Academy which supports an exceptional group of high achieving and highly talented students including Academic, Elite Athlete and Performing Arts scholars. 

The second tier is UCD’s Entrance scholars which include Academic High Achievers, Bord na Gaeilge Scholars, Choral Scholars, Cothrom na Féinne Scholars and Symphony Orchestra Scholars.

Congratulations to Jonah Miller, Sean Noonan, Donal Ó Maolagain, Edward Scanlon, Ayush Tambde from the class of 2023!

TCD Entrance Exhibitions (EU Students Only)

Entrance exhibitions are automatically awarded to Junior Fresh (first year) new entrants provided that sufficient merit is shown in public examination results. Each Exhibition is in the form of a book prize. Exhibitioners are invited to attend a ceremony to celebrate this achievement. The schools in which Exhibitioners received their post-primary education are informed.

2nd & 6th Years Turas go dti an Ghaeltacht

2nd & 6th Years Turas go dti an Ghaeltacht

The second and sixth years went to the Gaeltacht on the 21st of October for three days. We had sport and fun. We were in the water every day, We did body boarding and climbing, We were on the SUP, did archery, and had a ceilí that evening. The second and sixth years had classes and it helped to improve our Irish. We had an amazing time and enjoyed it loads.
