Josh Brady (5th Year) recounts what it was like when he was in the Stratford National School Tin Whistle Band.
On Tuesday 8th March, the Córfhéile took place in the National Basketball Arena. The Stratford National School Tin Whistle Band take part in the non-competitive event every year. Students strive to do their best. The night is always a roaring success. I personally played with my 5th and 6th class when I was in Stratford National School at the Córfhéile. As a 5th Year Music student I am proud that I took part in such a big event at a young age. It was nerve-racking and stressful coming up to it and I still remember the large amount of practice. Ms. Conlon accompanies the Tin Whistle Band every year which keeps the secondary school link with this important event.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
