NEWS / 11 April 2011

Jorden Bukspan (2nd Year) organised a charity gig in Bewleys Café on Saturday, 26th March and explains what happened. The profits were sent to charity in aid of the Japanese Earthquake.

Pray for JapaneseOn Saturday, 26th March, I put up an under 18's gig at Bewleys Café Theatre on Grafton Street.  There were four acts playing, including a few from Stratford College. The bands were: What? The Band made of Salt, Mr. Grieves, Frank and Alex Lai on piano.

A lot of organisation and hard work was put in by everyone involved and in the end it turned out to be a very successful night. Special thanks to the bands and Mr. Russell for his brilliant advice and support. The profits were given to charity in aid of the Japanese Earthquake.
