Darren Hough, TY student was somewhat sceptical about learning to do 'capoeira' when a Brazilian teacher came to school on Thursday, 8th May.
On the 8th May, a Brazilian came to school to teach the TYs martial arts combined with dance. This was called capoeira. At first I was sceptical about the whole thing, but as soon as we started doing it I realised how fun and amazing it was. We did rolls and jumps prancing around the hall and having fun. I really enjoyed doing the capoeira dance and would like to try again.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
