This year marks the first year that Stratford College has entered students into the Bebras international computational thinking challenge. Administered by Maynooth University, each student completes 15 online interactive puzzles and computational challenges in 45 minutes. 3rd Year student Grace MacDonnell describes the quiz in more detail.

This year second and third year students took part in round 1 of the Irish Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, which takes place between the 6th and 17th of November 2017.

The Bebras Challenge is a quiz to test your computational and puzzle solving skills. We had 45 minutes to complete the challenge, with a range of problems to solve. There were 15 questions in total with some being easy and others being harder. This challenge is being taken by many students around Ireland, and we hope that some students from Stratford make it into the next round!
