Arts Week 2013: UCD Classical Museum visited by 5th and 6th Year students

On Thursday, 14th November, 5th and 6th Year Classical Studies students visited the Classical Museum in UCD as part of Arts Week.

On Thursday, 14th November, 5th and 6th Year Classical Studies students visited the Classical Museum in UCD as part of Arts Week. For some students this was the highlight of the week. (Click on blog title to see more photos.)

Although I was absent for the first two days of Arts Week the vibe around the school was brilliant and uplifting. My favourite things were visiting the Classics Museum in UCD and having Johnnee the singer/songwriter come in to perform.

The UCD Classics Museum - we actually got to see artefacts. The girl called Jo was a great lecturer and answered all my questions that I had.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
