The "Anikeitos" team (the 'invincibles') won this year's 5th versus 6th Year Classical Studies Table Quiz, held on Friday, 21st December. John Nolan (6th Year) gives some further insight into the victory.

On the last Friday of term (21st December), Peadar and I won the Classics Quiz involving both 5th and 6th Year. It was a hard fought contest but in the end the "Anikeitos" team, as we called ourselves, triumphed. This was fitting as it is the Latin for 'invincible'! (Click on blog title to see more photos.)

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
