6th Year student Sarah O'Neill, was invited by the British Fashion Council to attend London Fashion Week from 17th - 21st February. Sarah O'Neill was one of only two Irish fashion bloggers to be invited to the event. She recounts the amazing experience that she had at the show.
Last week I was invited to attend the London Fashion Week as a blogger by the British Fashion Council. My street fashion blog is www.stil-sraide.blogspot.com. I have about 3000 followers. I was the only Irish street-style blogger at the event.
The event took place mainly in Somerset House where I attended various shows and street style photographs. I attended the Zoe Jordan, DAKS, John Rocha, Basso and Brooke, and Orla Kiely shows. My favourite show was Orla Kiely's presentation which was an afternoon tea dance. Tea and cakes were served while the press and bloggers sat at tables watching the models and actors dance around the room. I also worked as a backstage photographer for the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Shows - the shows for up-and-coming designers - in the beautiful Art Deco Freemason's Hall.
A backstage pass allowed me to take detailed shots of the clothes which enabled me to admire the complexity of the design. I appeared in the Observer and Guardian newspapers on Saturday, 18th February. (Click on thumbnail to open an enlarged version of image.)

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
