On Tuesday, 12th January, the 6th Year Leaving Certificate Biology and Chemistry students spent the day doing Biology and Chemistry practicals in NUI Maynooth science labs. 6th Year Biology student, Fiona Maguire, recounts the day.
Yesterday the Biology and Chemistry Leaving Certificate classes went to Maynooth University to do our practical experiments. The experiments were led by Maynooth's Masters' and PhD students. The day took place in the Maynooth undergraduate science labs so students interested in pursuing science as a career got a great insight into what it would be like to study science at third level.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
