In early November, a 6th Year French debating team took part in the online French debating competition - Joutes Oratoires - organised by the Alliance Française.

The students involved were Valery Goulakova (who was the captain), Alexey Gorelov, Nellie Warren, Siuin O'Shea and Annabel Murphy. They were the opposition for the motion 'All schools should be co-educational' and competed against Blackrock College.

Well done everyone - it was a great challenge to not only debate in French, but to debate in French and online!
