Eoin Gleeson (6th Year) describes the day's trip to NUI Maynooth to do Biology practicals.
On Wednesday, 18th January, the Leaving Certificate Biology students went to NUI Maynooth to do practicals for their course. It was both useful and necessary for the completion of practicals. It also provided information on the type of questions and answers that are likely to come up in the exams. The students all agreed that it was of great benefit and an enjoyable day out. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
