The 6th Year Biology class visited Maynooth University's Biology Lab. on Monday, 21st January to work on Leaving Certificate Biology experiments. Irena Williams (6th Year) explains a bit further about the day.
"We went to Maynooth from 9.30am to 4pm. We were there with a few other schools from the Maynooth area. We did six experiments, including enzyme, DNA and germination experiments." (Click on blog title to see more photos.)

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
