5th Years receive their awards for The Mary Elmes Prize in Holocaust Studies

Congratulations to 5th Year students, Sonny who was awarded 3rd place in the History Category and to Gali awarded who was awarded 3rd place in the Art Category in the Mary Elmes Prize Competition. (May 2024)
The Mary Elmes Prize in Holocaust Studies is awarded to students for projects that raise awareness about the Holocaust. This project was done as part of a Transition Year History Module.
Students are invited to complete a project or a piece of work to raise awareness about the Holocaust, inspired by Mary Elmes and her story. The four categories of submission include art, history, literature and music. Submissions are judged by panels of approved teachers, subject experts and members of Mary’s family.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time
Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
